Who claimed to own the no bake chocolate, peanut butter cookie?
I am 66 years old and my grandmother, born in 1900, taught me to make those cookies when I was 9 or 10 years old, 1956 or 57.
Also, you will find it published; in the majority of those cookbooks put together by various groups and sold for fund raisers.
Anybody claiming ownership of that recipe better be about 100 years old because it’s been around at least that long or longer.
Ingredients-this looks like the recipe she was looking for
2 cups sugar
4 tablespoons cocoa
1 stick butter
1/2 cup milk
1 cup peanut butter
1 tablespoon vanilla
3 cups oatmeal

Becky that cookie is called simply no bakes or haystacks and there is chocolate and different kinds. All you have to do is search the web asking for no bake cookies. I hope that it isn’t to late to help you

I became the cook in my family when my wife suffered multiple strokes and my parents, both with dementia, moved in with us. I had just a few recipes, basically I just ordered out and reheated. But now I can cook! Thanks for such simple and delicious recipes. Love your Facebook page!

I am trying to find the recipe for the Unstuffed Cabbage Rolls? I had it on my timeline on Facebook and now it is gone, I have all the ingredients, now I just need the recipe!

1 head cabbage
1 1/4 lbs lean hamburger (90% lean)
3/4 cup uncooked white rice (not instant I recommend Uncle Ben’s)
1 egg
2 (6 ounce) cans tomato paste
1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
4 tablespoons sugar
1 small sweet onion
salt & pepper
Chop cabbage into pieces, par-boil until almost tender.

Remove, rinse with cold water.

Drain well.

Mix all of ingredients EXCEPT tomato sauce.

Grease casserole dish.

Place 1/2 can of tomato sauce on bottom of dish.

Spread half of cooked cabbage over sauce, then layer all of meat mixture over cabbage, cover meat with the rest of cabbage, pour rest of tomato sauce over cabbage.

Bake 325°F in covered dish for 1 hour 15 minutes.

Let stand for 15 minutes before serving.

This is the basic recipe–you can add more of whatever you like.
